Directions
Public transport
The Willem Einthoven building is eight minutes’ walking distance from Leiden Central Station. Take the ‘LUMC – Terweepark’ exit. The map shows the walking route.

By car
From the A44 ( Amsterdam and The Hague/Wassenaar):

  1. Leave the A44 at exit 8 (exit Leiden-Valkenburg-Katwijk-Noordwijk from the direction of The Hague; exit Leiden-Utrecht from the direction of Amsterdam) and drive in the direction of Leiden centrum/Naturalis on the Plesmanlaan.
  2. On the Plesmanlaan, take the first road to the left (Einsteinweg). At the roundabout, turn right onto the Max Planckweg.
  3. At the T-junction, turn right onto the Wassenaarseweg. At the next roundabout, go straight ahead and follow the road until just before the TNO building. This is the entrance to the Willem Einthoven building (a sign indicates ‘Wassenaarseweg 62’)
  4. After approx. 150 metres you will arrive at the Willem Einthoven building.

From the A4 (The Hague/Rotterdam):

  1. Leave the A4 at exit 7 (Zoeterwoude-Dorp) and follow the N206 in the direction of Katwijk (along the Churchilllaan and Dr. Lelylaan)
  2. At the end of the Dr. Lelylaan (the Holiday Inn is in front of you),  turn right at the traffic lights, and right again at the next traffic lights. You are now on the Plesmanlaan in the direction of Leiden Centrum and the Bio Science Park. Keep to the left.
  3. On the Plesmanlaan, take the first road to the left (Einsteinweg). At the roundabout, turn right onto the Max Planckweg.
  4. At the T-junction, turn right onto the Wassenaarseweg. At the next roundabout, go straight ahead and follow the road until just before the TNO building. This is the entrance to the Willem Einthoven building (a sign indicates ‘Wassenaarseweg 62’)
  5. After approx. 150 m you will arrive the Willem Einthoven building.

From Utrecht:
  1. On the A12 in the direction of The Hague, take the Alphen aan den Rijn/Leiden exit (N11).
  2. Drive on the N11 as far as the junction with the A4. There you take the direction to The Hague/Rotterdam (A4). Stay in the outer lane
  3. Leave the A4 at exit 7 (Zoeterwoude-Dorp) and follow the N206 in the direction of Katwijk (along the Churchilllaan and Dr. Lelylaan)
  4. From here, follow the directions given above (from The Hague/Rotterdam)

Parking
Parking places near the building are limited and are only for visitors announced in advance.
